KATSU-KUNS

In Japanese, "katsu" means both "win" and "cutlet". So here are characters of pork cutlet we created for 2005 Nike Japan Bukatsu campaign. The guardian for junior high/high school kids who are doing school sports activities called "Bukatsu" which is unique to Japan. Only body parts are now given an airing. Like Disney characters, only one Katsu-kun can exist, but if you look into the back stage, surely there are 2 of them.
