"Tsurumaru" (crane in a circle) is a beloved symbol of Japan Airlines which had been used until they merged with Japan Air System. My friend, TVCM Producer Hikaru Sakuragi was lucky enough to fly on the B777-200 that was one of the last tsurumaru jets, from Haneda to Fukuoka on the last day of that livery. He gave me this memorial sticker with greeting from JAL's CEO, Mr. Haruka Nishimatsu who was recently talked about among international press since he is having lunch in employee cafeteria and commuting by city bus.
