GOODBYE, NAPA

Masaru, my former colleague at WKT who was in charge of the Delta account, sent me this rare JAL postcard. It shows JAL's Flight Crew Training Center in Napa, California, which ceased operations last year due to bankruptcy. Today, JAL announced that they will revive the traditional "Tsurumaru" (crane in a circle) logo, which can be seen on the tails of these Beechcraft planes, in April this year. I wish I could see new "Tsurumaru" on 747s, but that will never happen. Can this beloved logo be a symbol of their comeback?
