GRAN CLASS

I'm going to Sendai then onto Ishinomaki to join Ishonomaki Stand Up Week 2012. Thi is my first experience of the new Gran Class service of the Tohoku Shinkansen bullet train.

石巻Stand Up Week 2012に参加するため、まずは仙台へ。東北新幹線の新しいグランクラスを初体験。

I saw no other passengers in the cabin all the way to Sendai. The seat is similar to the one on JAL's domestic first class.

車内は仙台までずっと貸し切り状態。シートはJALの国内線ファーストクラスのものに似ている。

This is also my first time getting a bento box on the train without paying for it.

列車でお金を払わずに弁当を食べたのも初めて。
