TRACES OF SOVIET MINSK: VICTORY MONUMENT

The 1954 obelisk and an eternal flame to honor the soldiers of the Soviet Army and partisans of Belarus. Minsk is one of the 12 Hero Cities. Hero City was a Soviet title awarded for outstanding heroism during World War II.
